Susan Stevens began her career with JMS Brokerage in 1988 while still in high school. As a native of the Fox Valley, she attended high school in Hortonville and later attended UW Oshkosh. She is now the Vice President of JMS Brokerage.
Susan’s roots run deep in all areas of the health insurance marketplace as she has 29 years of experience assisting Individuals, Seniors and local small Employers with their health insurance options but her path has led to a greater expertise in the Senior Market. Much of that is due to learning to navigate the Health Care Provider System for her father when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and for her mother as she continues to battle a chronic long term condition in a local nursing home. Both circumstances convinced Susan of the importance of health insurance and financial planning. She is a firm believer that everyone should have the security health insurance provides and is working to make that a reality.
In her leisure time, Susan enjoys traveling with her daughter, Katrina, who also is a Fox Valley native, working as a counselor for Waushara County and the Outagamie County Jail. Susan also enjoys watching her nephews as they play in local sporting events. She is the proud parent of 1 cat, Rajah, and has a German Shepherd grand dog named Typhoon.
Anita Creswell works as a Health Insurance Advisor with JMS Brokerage. Although born in Canada, she was raised in Southeastern Wisconsin, later graduating from Racine Lutheran High School. She expanded her knowledge by studying at mid-western Wartburg College in Waverly, IA and abroad at the University of Bonn in Germany. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Business Administration and German.
January 1993 marked a milestone in her career as she relocated to the Fox Valley and assisted in opening a Sales office for Blue Cross Blue Shield. This step allowed her to round out her expertise of both individual health insurance as well as employer sponsored coverage for health, dental, life & disability. Anita eventually added working knowledge of Medicare Supplement Insurance to her portfolio when she accepted a position with Wisconsin Physicians Services (WPS) Insurance Corporation in 2003. Later, in 2016 she joined JMS Brokerage which continues to allow her an active role in helping others decipher the world of health insurance.
Her solid experience has been gained not only as an Insurance Agent, but also as a Patient Advocate. Having assisted family members with terminal illness to navigate the Health Care System, Hospice, Assisted Living and Medicaid programs, she understands the vital role that health insurance plays in financial planning and this motivates her to help her clients find the right insurance protection for their situation.
Outside of the insurance world, Anita and her husband Joe enjoy riding their motorcycles or traveling in their RV with their dog, Lexi and their cats, Blue & Jasper.
